Conferences History

• The First International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at the University of Aizu, Japan in 1998 in conjunction with the annual meeting of the 3D Forum Society.
• The Second International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at the University of Aizu, Japan and the Meiji University, Tokyo, Japan in 1999 in conjunction with the annual meeting of the 3D Forum Society.
• The Third International Conference on Human and Computer was held at the University of Aizu and the Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan in 2000 in conjunction with the annual meeting of the 3D Forum Society. At that conference, modern telecommunication technologies and Japan Gigabit Network were tested to establish a reliable connection between Tokyo and Aizu. The era of new conferences using the Internet to support and coordinate remote sites and remote sections had begun.
• The Fourth International Conference on Humans and Computesr was held at the University of Aizu and The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan in 2001 in conjunction with the annual meeting of the 3D Forum Society using the Japan Gigabit Network.
• The Fifth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at the University of Aizu and The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan in 2002 in conjunction with the annual meeting of the 3D Forum Society using the Japan Gigabit Network.
• The Sixth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at the University of Aizu and The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan in 2003 in conjunction with the annual meeting of the 3D Forum Society using the Japan Gigabit Network.
• The Seventh International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at the University of Aizu and The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan in conjunction with the annual meeting of the 3D Forum Society.
• The Eighth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at the University of Aizu and The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan in 2005. At that time, a reliable telecommunication connection was established with Duesseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Germany as a remote site. For the first time, participants from the different continents Europe and Asia were able to join the forum using the latest achievements in telecommunication technologies.
• The Ninth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at the University of Aizu and The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan in 2006. At that time, a reliable telecommunication connection was established with Dusseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Germany as a remote site.
• The Tenth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at the Dusseldorff University of Applied Sciences, Germany in 2007. At that time, a reliable telecommunication connection was established with University of Aizu, Japan and The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan as a remote sites.
• The Eleventh International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at the Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), Japan in 2008.
• The Twelveth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at Shizuoka University, Japan in 2009.
• The Thirteenth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at Shizuoka University, Japan in 2010.
• The Fourteenth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at Shizuoka University, Japan in FY2011.
• The Fifteenth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at Shizuoka University, Japan in FY2012.
• The Sixteenth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at Shizuoka University, Japan in FY2013.
• The Seventeenth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at Shizuoka University, Japan in FY2014.
• The Eighteenth International Conference on Humans and Computers was held at Shizuoka University, Japan in FY2015.
